The walls and lid are made from no-break polypropylene plastic, which has UV stabilizers and anti-microbial additives. Because of the heavy-duty build of these coolers, they are great for men and women who work on construction sites, and they're also great for camping and hunting trips. The walls of these coolers are packed with a spray-foam polyurethane insulation that has an r-5 thermal resistance value. In less technical terms, this means that cat coolers will keep your food, water, beer, and other drinks colder for longer. In addition to this insulation, cat coolers feature a leak proof, recessed, seamless lid gasket. The cooler lid also has an airflow barrier and is shut with two heavy-duty, UV protected lid latches. With these features, the cooler lid maintains a strong seal that provides multiple days of ice retention. The 55 quart cooler is our mid-sized hard-sided cooler, and it can hold up to 60 cans and plenty of ice. This makes it ideal for travel and longer camping and hunting trips.
